Get Paid to be a Research Test Subject
Getting paid to be part of a research project does not only apply to medical research. It can apply to taste testing, market research, or any research which may require human subjects. All legitimate research projects that involve human subjects have to be approved by an institutional board. If you're ever worried about the experiment, you can always opt out.
In college I got paid to participate in research in the psychology department. I was placed in a booth and told to follow the instructions on a computer screen. The instructions explained that the amount I was paid would depend on my responses to the other individuals who were participating. The experiment involved choosing how much cash I would award the other individuals and how much they would offer to me. In the end I got paid $10 for a half hour of my time. To this day I don't know what the experiment was for or whether the results were ever published.
The following video and text from Howcast.com explains how to become a medical test subject.
