  • ByeByeList.com - This site say's "bye, bye" to searching Craigslist as a list only. Searches Craigslist for your keywords and displays only pictures. No download necessary.


  • ClasPics.com - "Pics for classifieds." A free photo hosting service which you can use to add a gallery to your classified listings.


  • CraigLook.com - "RSS browser for Classifieds. Search Cragslist within 250 miles with picture previews. Check the boxes for the categories you want to search and simply enter your keywords and zip code. No download necessary.


  • CraigZoom.com - Use the Craigslist browser to search Craigslist by cities or search all of Craigslist at once with the quick sitewide search. No download necessary.

  • CraigsListChecker.com - "Checks craigslist every hour for your item and emails you if a new ad is posted." Warning: asks for your email address but doesn't state a privacy policy. What I would do is make a new email address just for this and program your email client to receive that email until you find what you want.


  • CraigsPal.com - An automated Craigslist searcher program. The free version has search parameters, multi-site nationwide search, advanced keyword interface, preview browser, filtering and flagging. The rest of the features, including the instant notifications of new search results, are only available with the paid version which is just under $30. Has a green report from SiteAdvisor.com.

  • CraigsToolBox.com - "CraigsToolbox adds images to your Craigslist Search results. The best thing about the tool is it actually runs on your current browser. This means that you get to surf Craigslist just like before, but now with images (and other features)." The other features include Automatic Search Notifications which can be received by text or email. Has a green report from SiteAdvisor.com.

  • Find a Reuse Group - This handy map search will help you find all the freecycle groups in your local area.
