"Donate" Plasma For Free Money and Snacks

Its funny how they call it "donating" when you get paid to do it.

I actually donated plasma in undergrad to help pay for rent. And since your body does the work naturally, the money you get for donating is free. It's not so bad if you can stand the needles. At the plasma center they usually have free drinks and snacks to help you begin to replenish what they've sucked out of you. And they had a movie playing so I considered it free entertainment too.

Before donating plasma, talk to your doctor about any health risks.

Step 1: Check qualification. Must be 17 years old or older and weight at least 110 pounds.

Step 2: Find a plasma center

Step 3: Answer personal questions about your medical history.

Step 4: Get a physical.

Step 5: Let them stick you, sit and relax for about 45 minutes.

Step 6: Get paid.

Expect your first visit to last about 3 hours.

Don't bother showing up if you have tattoos and piercings and can't prove in writting that they were administered in a sterile setting.
