"Donate" Plasma for Cash

Get Free Money, Free Entertainment, Free Snacks and Free Drinks.

I donated plasma as an undergrad to help pay for rent. I think its funny that they call it "donating" since you're getting paid to do it. Since your body does the work of replenishing the plasma naturally, the money you get for donating is free. It's not so bad if you can tolerate a needle stick. The initial insertion is the worst part, but then you can kind of ignore it. At the plasma center they usually have free drinks and snacks to help your body replenish what they've removed. And they had a movie playing so I also considered it to be free entertainment.

Before donating plasma, talk to your doctor about any health risks.

Step 1: Check qualification. Must be 17 years old or older and weight at least 110 pounds.

Step 2: Find a plasma center

Step 3: Answer personal questions about your medical history.

Step 4: Get a physical.

Step 5: Let them stick you, sit and relax for about 45 minutes.

Step 6: Get paid.

Expect your first visit to last about 3 hours.

Don't bother showing up if you have tattoos and piercings and can't prove in writing that they were administered in a sterile setting.
