Educational Grants, Scholarships and Awards
Over 20 resources are listed below which provide free access to scholarship databases. These resources were collected from books and reliable websites. They are all free. The only one actually tested is FastWeb.com. However, these resources can be trusted as well as any book on the subject which was purchased from the book store, since that is essentially where the information came from.
Major tips before searching for Grants, Scholarships and Awards:
- Do not pay for access to a grants and scholarships database (the directories below are free)
- Do not pay any fees to apply for a grant or scholarship.
- Beyond the resources listed below, search state, county and city agencies and websites. Check with the financial aid office at your school. Find out if your job or church can offer funds. And go to a local library to find books on scholarship searches.
